STUDENT AND JUNIOR RESEARCHER SCHOLARSHIPS

A limited number of partial scholarship (registration fee reduced to $250) and travel awards are available to assist junior researchers and students in attending the event by helping to offset expenses related to the conference.

(Notes:  For those who are awarded travel reimbursements, up to $800 travel reimbursements will be mailed out within 3 weeks following the event once we receive your travel receipts.  You MUST request a reimbursement form at the conference registration desk, which should accompany your receipts so that we know where to send payment.  If you reside outside of the U.S., please note that on your application so that we can make alternative reimbursement arrangements.)

CRITERIA

Scholarships are limited to applications who meet one of these criteria:

  • Student engaged in a master’s or doctorate level program or training with an accredited university or Chinese medical school, though other student levels would also be considered based on overall merit of their application
  • Junior practitioner working under the supervision of a senior practitioner or principle investigator with a demonstrated interest in learning more about acupuncture research to support an evidence-based practice
