 Roni D. Posner, EdD chief executive and operating officer, highly experienced and skilled in quality team management, organizational change/growth strategies, with a performance record in revenue generation and cost containment, has joined SAR as our Executive Director. Over the course of the past 25 years, Dr. Posner has brought-to-life the strategic plans, aspirations and intentions, of non-profit membership organizations including WomenHeart (the National Coalition for Women with Heart Disease), Financial Women’s International, the Institute for Local Self-Reliance (ILSR) and the Alliance of for Nonprofit Management. Dr. Posner earned a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Administration, Planning and Social Policy at Harvard University and subsequently received a Doctorate in Educational Administration from Northeastern University. Dr. Posner will work with the Board to maintain a consistent achievement of our mission and financial objectives and support the development of SAR.Laura Gemme  Laura Gemme recently joined SAR as the Deputy Executive Director to manage the day-to-day organizational activities. For more than 15 years, Ms. Gemme has helped nonprofits, and companies serving nonprofits, manage their operations, coordinate conferences, promote their missions and visions via external communications, and keep their programs running smoothly. Experience includes working with the Alliance for Nonprofit Management, the Chordoma Foundation, NonprofitOyster.com, Capability Company, Fairfax-Falls Church United Way, Just Us Kids Dept. of Justice Child Development Center, Patagonia’s Child Development Center, and various project–based consulting assignments across the United States. Ms. Gemme will apply her “juggling” expertise to balance the many aspects of SAR’s successful organizational development.
