Registration fees include all conference sessions, breaks, and receptions. Lunches are on your own. The Friday evening Gala Dinner is available as an add-on for those who wish to attend.

What's Included

The main conference registration fee includes all sessions, breaks, and receptions. Lunches are planned on your own for this conference. The Friday evening Gala Dinner — including dinner and entertainment — is available at an additional fee for those who wish to attend.

Travel Scholarships for Students & Junior Researchers

We may have a limited number of travel award scholarships available for students and junior-level practitioners/researchers. Information about this opportunity will be posted here when available.

Important: If you plan to apply for a travel award scholarship, please do not register prior to applying. Scholarships will not be awarded to those who have already registered.

International Registrants — Low-Income / Developing Countries

Special registration rates may be available for international registrants from low-income or developing countries. To inquire, please email info@acupunctureresearch.org and include your country of residence and whether you plan to attend in person or virtually.

International Registrants — Visa Invitation Letters

If you require an invitation letter to obtain a travel visa, please send a request to info@acupunctureresearch.org and include all information needed on the letter — such as full name, organizational affiliation, birthdate, passport number, or any other details required by your country.

Cancellation Policy

Refunds & Cancellations

All cancellations and requests for refunds must be received in writing prior to February 28, 2027 to info@acupunctureresearch.org. Refund requests received before that date will be processed less a $50 administrative fee. Refunds will not be given after February 28, 2027.

Pandemic policy: If a pandemic environment warrants cancellation of the in-person conference, SAR will move the conference to a fully virtual format and will email all registrants with details on timing and any applicable cost adjustments.
